• Lovely Cats is owned and operated by Certified Feline Master Groomers. This advanced certification is dedicated exclusively to feline grooming and reflects a commitment to continuing education, safety, and professional excellence.

  • Many cats benefit from regular grooming, especially long-haired cats, seniors, overweight cats, and cats that struggle to keep up with their own coat maintenance. Regular grooming can help remove loose coat, reduce shedding, prevent matting, and keep the skin and coat in good condition.

  • We offer professional cat grooming services including:

    • Bathing and blow drying

    • Nail trimming and nail caps

    • Brush-outs and de-shedding

    • Sanitary trims and belly shaves

    • Lions cuts and teddy bear trims

    • Coat maintenance programs

  • Every cat is different, but many cats benefit from professional grooming every 6-8 weeks. During your appointment, we can recommend a schedule based on your cat’s coat type, age, lifestyle, and grooming needs.

  • Many cats that dislike grooming can still be groomed successfully with patience, proper handling, and a calm environment. Because we work exclusively with cats, we understand their unique needs and strive to make the experience as low-stress as possible.

  • Yes. We have specialized training in feline grooming and regularly work with cats that are nervous, anxious, or challenging to groom. Each cat is evaluated individually, and we tailor our approach to their comfort level and needs.

Safety is always our top priority, and in rare cases a service may need to be modified or discontinued if it cannot be completed safely.

  • No. We do not sedate cats. If you believe a calming aid may help make the grooming experience less stressful for your cat, you are welcome to discuss that option with your veterinarian prior to your appointment.

  • Most appointments take between 1 and 3 hours depending on the service, coat condition, and your cat’s comfort level.

  • While proof of vaccinations are not required, we encourage clients to follow their veterinarian’s recommendations regarding vaccinations and preventative care. You are welcome to upload any vaccination records you would like us to keep on file.

  • For the safety and comfort of all cats, owners are generally not present during grooming. We will contact you if we have any questions or concerns during your cat’s visit.
